ℹ️ DESCRIPTION

Add an extra layer of protection to your Rivian R2 windshield with this precision-cut 8 mil EPU Windshield Protection Film. Designed specifically for the R2, the film installs on the exterior of the windshield to help reduce the risk of rock chips, scratches, and everyday road-debris damage while maintaining a clear view through the glass.

The flexible EPU construction uses an optically clear adhesive for clean windshield visibility and features a self-healing surface that helps minor scratches in the film fade with warmth. In addition to physical protection, the film provides 99% UV rejection and 85% infrared rejection to help reduce solar exposure and heat entering through the windshield.

Because the film is pre-cut to match the Rivian R2 windshield, there is no need to trim oversized sheets on the vehicle. The kit also includes a rubber squeegee and step-by-step installation video for a more straightforward DIY installation.

🛠️ INSTALLATION

1. Place the Rivian R2 windshield wipers into service mode to provide clear access to the windshield.

2. Thoroughly wash and clean the exterior glass to remove dirt, dust, oils, bugs, and other contaminants.

3. Prepare a spray bottle with an appropriate soapy installation solution.

4. Apply plenty of installation solution to the windshield and adhesive side of the protection film.

5. With the help of a second person, carefully position the pre-cut film over the windshield.

6. Adjust the film while wet until the edges and overall shape are properly aligned.

7. Once aligned, use the included rubber squeegee to push the installation solution and air outward from the center toward the edges.

8. Continue squeegeeing until the film is securely seated and excess solution has been removed.

9. Inspect the edges and overall alignment before allowing the film to begin setting.

10. Allow the film adequate time to dry and bond before washing the vehicle or exposing the windshield to unnecessary moisture.
