A fitted barrier for the Tesla rear trunk side pocket

Stop bottles, bags and small cargo from disappearing into the side gap.

This flocked side divider uses the space beside the rear trunk to create a more useful pocket for everyday cargo. Choose the vehicle-specific option, attach it to the factory trunk carpeting with the supplied Velcro, and keep loose items easier to see and reach.

TESERY flocked trunk side divider holding bottles in a Tesla rear trunk

The product in five points

A small panel that solves a very specific trunk problem.

  1. Choose the exact vehicle shapeVariants are made for Model Y Juniper, Model 3 Highland, Model Y 2020–2024, Model 3 2017–2023 and Model YL 2026+. The shapes are not interchangeable.
  2. Use the side cavity, not the main floorThe divider turns the otherwise awkward trunk-side space into a pocket for bottles, bags, toys and other items that need a defined boundary.
  3. Flocked surface with a firm coreA flocked exterior blends with the trunk lining, while the wood-board core gives the panel structure for ordinary daily loading.
  4. Velcro installation on the carpeted side wallAlign the panel and press the rear Velcro strip to the vehicle’s flocked trunk surface. No drilling or permanent modification is required.
  5. Package quantity follows the selectorModel 3 2017–2023 is listed as 1 piece; the other current vehicle options are listed as 2 pieces. Select your vehicle to see the correct pack.

Make the side space earn its place

Keep cargo upright and the trunk floor available for larger loads.

The divider is designed for the edge of the rear trunk, where loose items can otherwise slide into a narrow groove. It gives that corner a defined wall without taking over the center of the cargo floor.

  • Create a dedicated side pocket for bottles, shopping bags or road-trip essentials
  • Reduce the chance of small items sliding into the trunk-side recess
  • Keep the main trunk floor open for boxes, luggage or a stroller
  • Lift or reposition the panel when you need to clean the carpet underneath
Not for every Model Y cabin layout.

The live listing says this product is not applicable to the 7-seater Model Y. Confirm your seating configuration and select the exact vehicle variant before ordering.

A fitment-first purchase

Read the option label as carefully as the product title.

What to check before checkout

A correct-looking panel can still be the wrong generation.

  • Compare the option to your model year and trunk side-wall shape
  • Confirm whether your selected option is a one-piece or two-piece pack
  • Check that your car is not the excluded 7-seater Model Y layout
  • Allow the Velcro to meet the factory flocked carpet, not bare plastic

Installation

Attach it in minutes, then test the trunk cover.

  1. Clear the side pocketRemove cargo and wipe loose dust from the carpeted side wall so the fastener can make contact.
  2. Match the contourPlace the panel against the side recess and align the top edge with the surrounding trunk trim.
  3. Press the VelcroPress along the rear strip until it is seated on the flocked carpet. For a two-piece option, repeat on the opposite side.
  4. Check clearanceOpen and close the trunk cover gently and confirm the panel is secure before loading cargo.
Reversible does not mean careless.

Remove the panel slowly from the carpet when needed. If the panel does not align with your side wall, stop and re-check the vehicle option instead of forcing the fastener.

Trunk side divider FAQ

Which Tesla models and years are supported?

The current selector includes Model Y Juniper 2025-ON, Model 3 Highland 2024-ON, Model Y 2020–2024, Model 3 2017–2023 and Model YL 2026+. Choose the option matching your vehicle generation.

Is the Model 3 option a two-piece set?

Not always. The current listing identifies Model 3 2017–2023 as 1 PCS, while the other listed vehicle options are 2 PCS. Confirm the quantity shown beside your selected option.

How does it attach?

The panel uses Velcro on the rear and is intended to attach to the flocked/carpeted side wall of the Tesla trunk. No drilling or permanent modification is stated.

Will the Velcro damage the trunk carpet?

Remove it slowly and avoid pulling at an angle. Carpet condition and removal technique affect the result; test a small area and stop if the carpet begins to lift.

Does it fit a 7-seater Model Y?

The live listing states that this product is not applicable to the 7-seater Model Y. Do not order that configuration without written confirmation from TESERY support.

What can I put behind the divider?

It creates a side pocket for compact cargo such as bottles, bags, toys and road-trip items. Keep tall or heavy loads within the available clearance and secure them appropriately.

Will it affect the trunk cover?

It is designed to sit against the side wall and keep the trunk cover usable, but test the cover gently after installation. If it meets resistance, remove the panel and re-check fitment.

Can I remove it to clean the trunk?

Yes. Detach the Velcro carefully, clean the panel and carpet, and reattach only after the surfaces are dry and free of loose dust.

What is included?

The panel quantity shown for the selected vehicle option: 1 piece for Model 3 2017–2023 or 2 pieces for the other current options.

What if I selected the wrong vehicle option?

Do not install a mismatched panel. Compare the selector with your vehicle generation and review the current refund policy before returning or exchanging the item.
