🛠️ INSTALLATION
- Clean the left and right mirror caps with glass cleaner or rubbing alcohol. A microfiber cloth is recommended to remove fine dust particles.
- Mix a slip solution using a few drops of Johnson & Johnson baby soap with 16 oz of water.
- Apply slip solution to the mirror cap surface.
- Remove the PPF from the backing sheet and apply it to the corresponding mirror cap.
- Move the PPF into the correct position while the slip solution allows adjustment.
- Use a rubber squeegee to push out the slip solution and air bubbles, working from the center outward.
- Allow the film to fully dry and set before washing the vehicle or exposing the installed area to heavy moisture.
Note: All PPF installs follow the same general application process. We recommend reviewing PPF installation videos for tips and techniques before starting your DIY project. Pre-cut kits remove the hardest step: cutting the film to shape.
