The FRP or Carbon/Paintable choice is a finish-ready composite supplied in FRP, partial carbon or carbon at the manufacturer's discretion. That option should not be assumed to be full carbon fiber.
Dedicated genuine vacuum-formed carbon configurations are Carbon/Woven/Gloss, Carbon/Woven/Matte, Carbon/Forged/Gloss and Carbon/Honeycomb/Gloss. Woven emphasizes an ordered weave, forged offers a marbled pattern, and honeycomb presents a distinct structured finish; finished carbon includes a protective clear coat.
